Privacy policy

Last updated 6 November 2026

This policy explains what personal information chaselowe.au collects, why, and what I do with it. It covers this website and enquiries you send me through it. "I" and "me" means Chase Lowe, a digital marketing strategist based in Newcastle, NSW.

What I collect

When you send an enquiry. The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, company (optional), what you need help with and a short message. Alongside that, the form records which page you sent it from and how you arrived at the site, such as the search engine, campaign or website that referred you. If you email me or message me on LinkedIn, I'll have whatever you include there.

When you browse the site. The site uses Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics 4 and similar measurement tags. These collect information like the pages you view, how you found the site, your approximate location, your device and browser, and actions such as sending the form or clicking my email address. Google sets cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to do this. The site also keeps a note of how you first arrived in your browser's session storage for the length of your visit, so an enquiry can be matched to its source. It's cleared when you close the tab.

I don't ask for sensitive information, and I'd ask you not to include it in an enquiry.

Why I collect it

To reply to your enquiry and work with you if we go ahead. To understand how people find and use the site so I can improve it, and to measure whether my own marketing is working. I don't sell your personal information, and I don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.

Who sees it

Enquiries are stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and are emailed to me. Analytics information is processed by Google. Both companies store data on servers that may be outside Australia, including in the United States. I don't share your details with anyone else unless you agree, or I'm required to by law.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for as long as I need them to respond and to keep a record of our work together, then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in my Google Analytics account.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics. You can manage how Google uses information for ads in your Google account's ad settings.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your information

You can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by emailing chase@chaselowe.au. I'll respond as soon as I reasonably can.

Questions or complaints

If you have a question or a concern about how I've handled your information, email me at chase@chaselowe.au and I'll do my best to sort it out. If you're not happy with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If I change how the site handles personal information I'll update this page and the date at the top.
